【Clear LED Indicators for Easy Diagnosis- The integrated LED indicators provide clear visual feedback on relay operation. You can easily identify coil activation and contact switching, allowing for quick and accurate diagnosis of relay issues. This visual confirmation enhances troubleshooting efficiency and reduces the potential for misdiagnosis.

【Durable Construction for Reliable Performance】- This relay tester is built with high-quality materials and a robust design for long-lasting performance in demanding environments. It's resistant to damage from shocks, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring reliable operation for years to come.

Here's a revised version of the instructions and precautions for your automotive relay tester, with clearer language and added tips:

How to Use:

  1. Connect to Battery: Securely connect the black alligator clip to the negative terminal of a 12V car battery. Attach the red alligator clip to the positive terminal. The RED LED will illuminate, indicating power is on.

  2. Select Relay Type: Before plugging in the relay, check its pin configuration. Select "4 pin" or "5 pin" on the tester accordingly.

  3. Plug in Relay: Insert the relay into one of the three receptacles on the tester.

  4. Start Test: Press the "TEST" button to begin the relay test.

  5. Pin Configuration Check: The RED LED will illuminate if the relay's pin configuration doesn't match common automotive relays or if the pins are damaged.

  6. Contact Closure & Opening Time Test: If the pin configuration is correct, the tester will cycle the relay 10 times, measuring the time required for contact closure and opening. The RED LED will light immediately if the timing is outside the expected range.

  7. Final Relay Consistency Test: After the timing test, the tester will assess the overall relay consistency. If the test passes, the GREEN LED will light up. If not, the RED LED will indicate a problem.

  8. Disconnect & Remove: Disconnect the power leads from the battery and remove the relay from the tester.

  1. Battery Voltage: Always use a 12V car battery with a voltage between 11V and 15V.

  2. Coil Resistance: This tester is best suited for relays with a coil resistance above 20 ohms.

  3. Safe Handling: Use caution when working with electrical components. Avoid touching bare wires or terminals while the tester is powered on.

Additional Tips:

  1. Visual Inspection: Before using the tester, visually inspect the relay for any signs of damage or corrosion.

  2. Troubleshooting: If the RED LED indicates an issue, check the relay's pin configuration and ensure proper connections to the tester. You may need to replace the relay if it's faulty.

These revisions offer clearer instructions, focus on troubleshooting, and include important safety precautions.
