XRC Gen2 Replacement: The remote and socket kit replaces damaged controls on compatible Smittybilt XRC Gen2 winches. The shown fit list includes models 97495, 98495, 97412, 98412, 97415, and 97417.
IN and OUT Control: The protected toggle provides direct winch line control from the handheld grip. The color-coded IN and OUT markings remain easy to identify during recovery work.
Long-Reach Cable: The 50 ft cable allows operation well away from the winch and vehicle. The extended reach supports trailer loading, vehicle recovery, and off-road positioning.
Remote and Socket Renewal: The kit includes both the handheld remote and matching 5-pin panel socket. Replacing both sides helps address worn contacts, bent pins, corrosion, or intermittent connection problems.
Field-Ready Construction: The molded ergonomic grip, strain relief, locking plug, and weather-resistant design suit demanding off-road use. The secure connector plugs directly into the matching control socket.
