RV Locks

Standard RV lock is a latch and handle feature with key entry. Many RVs come with upgraded deadbolt locks for added security at the door. We have a total of three locking mechanisms, which are having a code entered in the keypad, using the remote key fob and manually locking or opening the door with the key. In addition to improving security, RV locks make it easier to get in and out of the RV.

RV Entry Door Locks: Upgrade Security & Convenience

Secure Your Adventure with Advanced RV Locking Systems

Standard factory RV locks often lack the robust security and modern convenience found in aftermarket upgrades. Enhancing a recreational vehicle's entry system ensures peace of mind while traveling and camping. Whether replacing a worn-out latch or upgrading to advanced keyless technology, modern RV locks offer superior protection and seamless access for travel trailers, fifth wheels, and campers.

Types of RV Security Solutions

  • Keyless Entry Keypads: Eliminate the risk of being locked out or the hassle of carrying keys during outdoor activities. Keyless RV door locks allow access via secure PIN codes, often featuring backlit buttons for easy operation at night.
  • Remote Fob & Biometric Access: For maximum convenience, advanced locking systems include wireless remote key fobs for distance locking/unlocking and fingerprint recognition sensors, providing quick, personalized entry without fumbling for codes.
  • Standard Deadbolts: For those preferring traditional reliability, heavy-duty mechanical locks with built-in deadbolts provide a sturdy physical barrier against unauthorized entry.

Durability and Compatibility

  • Weather-Resistant Construction: Built to withstand life on the road, high-quality RV locks utilize durable materials like zinc alloy and feature IP65-rated waterproofing to resist rust, dust, and harsh weather conditions.
  • Universal Fit: Most aftermarket RV locks are engineered to fit standard door cutouts, serving as direct replacements for common factory handles. This "plug-and-play" design typically requires only a screwdriver, making installation simple for any DIY enthusiast.

Choosing the Right RV Lock

When selecting a replacement, consider the access method that best suits the camping lifestyle.

  • For Active Campers: A keyless entry system allows the freedom to leave the campsite for hiking or swimming without worrying about lost keys.
  • For Maximum Security: Look for models that integrate both a latch lock and a deadbolt, offering dual-layer protection.
  • For Ease of Use: Remote control locks are ideal for quickly securing the vehicle from a distance or when hands are full.
