Parasitic Draw Diagnosis: The test lead places a compatible multimeter in series with the disconnected negative battery cable. The live current reading helps locate electrical loads that continue draining the battery after the vehicle is switched off.
Switchable Circuit Path: The integrated rocker switch opens or closes the in-line battery connection during setup. The controlled path supports meter connection and fuse checks without repeatedly removing the battery clamps.
Dual Replaceable Fuses: The battery side uses a 10A plug-in fuse and the meter side uses a 7.5A plug-in fuse. The two serviceable protection points help isolate an overload before it reaches the test equipment.
Dedicated Meter Plugs: The red lead connects to a compatible A 10A or 20A meter jack while the black lead connects to COM. The separated plugs make the required multimeter polarity and current input easier to identify.
34-Inch Workshop Reach: The complete cable assembly measures 86 cm or 34 in. The extended lead provides working room around batteries in cars trucks and RVs.
